In Minami-Awaji City and Nushima Island, there are many migrating horse mackerels and good natural reefs, and they are able to stay on the reefs and rocks and store plenty of nutrients and fat due to the abundant food supply. Unlike other horse mackerels, the golden horse mackerels that have plenty of nutrients and fat stored in them are tastier than regular horse mackerels.
