Three kinds of "Awaji KAWARAMESHI" kamameshi will be on sale from November 2!

We are pleased to introduce our new menu from Uzuno-oka, a restaurant with a spectacular view!

Ltd. and Baton LLC, both tile producers in Minami-Awaji, Awaji Island, have jointly developed the Awaji-kawara-meshi (Awaji tile rice), which uses Awaji tile kamameshi lids, and will be served at our restaurant.

The "kamabai lid," which is made to look like a roof tile, is made of the exact same material and process as actual Awaji tiles at Daiei Kiln in Minami-Awaji City on Awaji Island, one of the three major tile production centers in Japan. Not only does it look beautiful, but the roof tiles absorb the steam generated when cooking rice, so the rice cooks softly and evenly without excess moisture.

Many people probably don't know that Awaji Island is one of the three major tile production areas in Japan.

We hope you will take this opportunity to learn about the many other attractions of Awaji Island besides food.

The menu is limited in quantity, so please come early.

We are also currently receiving many inquiries about our Awaji Island 3-year torafugu menu.

We apologize for the delay, but this year's full-scale fugu menu is scheduled to begin in mid-November. (Only "Awaji KAWARAMESHI - Awaji Island 3-year torafugu" will be available on November 2.)

We look forward to welcoming you.
