The 16th Awaji Island Creative Cooking Contest, a competition of culinary skills using Awaji Island ingredients.
The main theme of this year's event was "Island Gohan" (in the style of mixed rice).

Executive Chef Fujimi proposed a gorgeous-looking egg and rice dish with raw sea urchin on top.

Each ingredient is arranged in the best balance to bring out the ultimate flavor.
We plan to make further improvements and sell it as a new menu item at Uzuno-Oka, a restaurant with a spectacular view!
