Preparation of "Awaji Island onion" pickles

Thank you very much for visiting Uzu no Oka, a restaurant with a spectacular view.
Today, we are offering a single menu item at our restaurant.
We prepared pickles of "Awaji Island onions".
First, peel the onion and cut it into wedges.


Then, while cutting, boil water in a large pot.
In a separate pot, combine the pickling liquid and bring to a boil once.
When the water boils, quickly pull up the onions with just the right amount of texture left.

Put the onions and pickling liquid in a bowl and let cool.

Pickled onions are also pickled deliciously.
