Local cuisine of fish in season!

Thank you very much for visiting Uzu no Oka Restaurant with a spectacular view.
Starting tomorrow, September 20, 2014, we will be serving Awaji Sawara no Chahan, a local dish from the Goshiki district of Awaji Island, using local Minami-Awaji City sawara.
The season for Spanish mackerel is just around the corner, and as the weather gets colder, the fat content of the fish increases.
Such a Spanish mackerel is dipped in soy sauce and served over hot rice, with the chef's special broth poured over the top and served in chazuke (rice with green tea).
Sawa mackerel is also available as sashimi, and we hope that many customers will enjoy the local cuisine of the Goshiki district on Awaji Island.
