Uzu no Oka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall
Located at the southernmost tip of Awaji Island, this spot offers a close-up view of the Naruto whirlpools. In addition to restaurants and a well-stocked gift shop, it also features the \u201cWhirlpool Science Museum,\u201d which explains the mechanics and scale of the whirlpools in an easy-to-understand way. Also popular are the \u201cOnion Catcher\u201d\u2014installed with the belief that \u201cif kids pick out their own onions, they\u2019ll be sure to eat them\u201d\u2014and \u201cO-Tamanegi\u00ae,\u201d a giant onion-shaped sculpture standing 2.5 meters tall and 28 meters in diameter.
At \"Uzu no Oka: The Scenic Restaurant,\" you can enjoy Awaji Island\u2019s finest delicacies\u2014such as salmon, sea bream, octopus, Awaji beef, and onions\u2014while taking in the view of the Naruto Strait.
